I wanted to thank you for your work so far delivering weekly activities for my Dad, since he arrived at Abbeydale a month ago.
When I visited on Sunday I asked what activities he’d been doing and he said “loads” with a real sparkle in his eyes. It was great to see. He especially remembered the exercise session and the music session. Today he went out to the garden centre, somewhere I used to go a lot with him, which will give us plenty to talk about when I see him on Sunday.
I’ve attached a link to a dementia screening of White Christmas, showing at Quad in December, which I’m sure you’re already aware of as I know you do try to take residents to the screenings. It’s the sort of outing Dad would love - he absolutely loves Christmas music and films.
Thanks again for all you do
