We are committed to protect all our staff and residents wellbeing and have comprehensive infection control measures in place in line with the Government guidance “COVID-19: infection prevention and control (IPC)

Included and additionally we have the following in place:

• Staff and resident vaccines.
• Monitoring temperature checks at the beginning of each shift
• Risk Assessments in line with the Covid-19: Adult Social Care Risk Reduction Framework
• Robust system of Audit and review of processes
• Weekly swab testing of staff
• Changing into and out of uniform on the premises in changing rooms
• Social distancing in the workplace
• PPE supplies over and above the recommended guidance
• Increased Housekeeping provision and regular cleaning schedules to maintain a safe environment and touch points
• Employ staff teams that are over and above our dependency levels
• Daily briefings and updates for staff from managers
• Additional sinks and hygiene stations created
• Hand washing and PPE information posters, and guidance displayed around the Care Homes
• Adherence to self isolation guidelines for symptomatic staff and residents and those who might have a positive swab result
• Red trays for meals used in barrier nursing rooms and disposable table wear
• Thorough cleaning and disinfection of equipment used day to day and for social activities
